Have you seen some of these stick figure animations? They are great! The first one I saw was called the “Animator vs. Animation.” It was a clever animation of a stickman in a vector animation program called Flash. If possible check it out Animator vs. Animation.
This animation gave me a thirst for more. Then I was introduced to a simple stick figure animation program called Pivot. Wtih Pivot you can learn the basics of frame by frame animation without getting to technical. I tried to embed a movie clip below, but if that doesn’t work just search for “Pivot” when you get a chance on Youtube. One of my favorites is “Pivot Stickman Door Animation.”
